Why is it

That smokers have the energy to walk away from their desks to go outside and smoke- but they always block the doorway so there is no way to exit a building without entering their carcinogenic haze? Perhaps they should walk 15 additional feet from the door- to allow the allergic people to keep breathing as they come and go?!

'Round here, it's probably just habit from when they do it in the wintertime and have to huddle as close to their source of heat as possible.

Which me to another question: given the fact that to be a smoker in Minnesota requires standing outside in sub-zero freezing temperatures for at least 1/3 of the year - why on earth would you want to get into the habit? Seems a much better disincentive to me than even turning your lungs black and gooky.
